Resolved Question: Camping on the Oregon coast in early spring?

My friends and I are thinking about going camping on the Northern Oregon coast next week, probably in or around Cape Lookout State Park, by Tillamook. Has anyone ever done this before? Is this a good idea or are we going to spend our time inside hiding from the rain and wind? We are also thinking about renting a yurt from the park, has anyone ever done this before? Are the yurts fairly warm and dry? Or, should we just tough it out and take a tent. I really appreciate any feedback from people who have had personal experience with any of this.
